Beginner (Level 1 - 2)
I teach beginners the correct reading and writing of Hangeul with an emphasis on stroke order and phonetics, moving on to basic vocabulary, sentence structure, and grammar points. At this stage, I help students develop a natural interest in the Korean language without overwhelming them.
Intermediate (Level 3 - 4)
I gradually reduce the amount of English used in class until it is only used when necessary for deeper understanding. With gentle error correction, I encourage students to form both simple and complex sentences on their own and to express their ideas more naturally. At this stage, we focus on expanding vocabulary and sentence patterns while building confidence through consistent practice.
Advanced & TOPIK (Level 5 - 6)
At this stage, I encourage students to speak freely on a wide range of topics while refining accuracy and natural expression. Lessons focus on organizing ideas clearly and using Korean in a way that sounds appropriate and confident in context.
For TOPIK preparation, lessons are based on the exam format and strategies. We then practice with a variety of TOPIK-style questions and review them in detail, helping students approach the exam more effectively.
